Regional Biotech Portfolio Lead Sr Director/Director - US Remote

Partner with operations and commercial to develop and lead regional partnerships with the assigned portfolio of clients. Provides strategic direction across the organization to ensure a customized biotech delivery model that is most effective for portfolio of clients. Provides consultation, direction and leadership to functional leads and employees to ensure operational excellence, consistency, quality, innovation and learning across the portfolio of work. Portfolio lead has overall accountability in partnership with designated leads for client relationships and satisfcation across an assigned portfolio. Essential Functions Partners globally with other groups to develop new business within assigned region. Ensure that PPD servcies are appropriately leveraged to meet client's strategic needs. Develop and lead appropriate governance for assigned accounts. Serves as the customers' executive single point of contact, and escalation support person for all operational issues/discussions. Communicates with sponsors regularly to identify potential problem areas and acts quickly to remove the risk/resolve the issue. Assists in business development activities, representing PPD biotech at bid defenses, ensuring realization of the PPD biotech vision. Job Qualification

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to15
years'). In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

o Exposure to high pressure, intense concentration needed o Must pay constant attention to detail-visual, mental o Must be able to multi-task constantly o Frequent interaction with clients / associates required o Long, varied hours required occasionally o Travel and rotating shifts required on rare occasions o Exposure to toxic materials on rare occasions Physical Requirements:
o Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day. o Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. o Frequent mobility required. o Occasional crouching, stooping, bending and twisting of upper body and neck. o Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs. o Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf. o Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. o Frequently interacts with others to obtain or relate information to diverse groups. o Works independently with little guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions and plans work schedules to meet goals. Requires multiple periods of intense concentration. o Performs a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence. May have exposure to potentially hazardous elements typically found in healthcare or laboratory environments. This role requires independent travel up to XX%, inclusive of traveling in automobiles, airplanes, and trains. As a condition of employment with PPD, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, in this role, you must have received your Covid-19 vaccine and you must disclose proof of your vaccination status upon employment.
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
