Summary:
The New System Sales Assistant provides support to assigned salespersons in order to maximize service to our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Creates takeoffs and prepare proposals Selects equipment Prices jobs Processes orders and change orders Prepares submittals Maintains order files Maintains follow-up system to track status of submittals, releases, shipments, and startups Answers customers phone inquiries and requests Follows up with customers on credit and collection matters Handles requests for quotes, I O & Ms, wiring diagrams, parts lists, extra submittal copies, etc.
Prices and quotes equipment in response to telephone requests Assists customers by coordinating interface with parts, service, and controls to solve customer problems and schedule service work Sets up projects and maintains budgets in Brady system Handles preparation for startups Responds to phone, e-mail, and fax requests from factories, other Trane offices, and Brady associates Processes warranty claims for Brady and Trane Assists internal and external customers with miscellaneous requests Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least 2 years of experience in sales support or technical customer service and pricing and quoting.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Proficiency in Microsoft office programs is required, as well as a general familiarity with computers, and the ability to learn new software applications.
The associate must be able to type 45 wpm accurately.
