Work Performed:
The Front Desk Manager will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
Carry out the smooth operation of the Front Office Department and ensure that all standards and operating procedures pertinent to Guest Services are followed; Able to perform job responsibilities of Front Office Associate, Transportation Specialist, and Concierge Attendant and support in these areas when needed; Develop and maintain relationships with employees, return guests and group contacts; Anticipate and address guest issues and establish proactive processes to promote guest satisfaction; Ensure that financial goals of the department and the hotel are being met, monitoring and controlling labor expenses and other divisional expenses such as supplies & equipment; Understand and enforce the hotel company credit policies, account for all cash, and make deposits in accordance with hotel and company policies; Be proactive in the greeting of guests in a friendly and warm manner; Ensure associates adhere to performance and service standards and conduct appropriate accountability measures by providing direction, support and timely feedback; Able to understand forecasting to ensure appropriate staffing levels are met according to business demands; Assist in recruitment process with interviewing candidates; Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications; and Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
