You will have the pleasure of meeting each client before, during and after their scheduled event.
Before and after you'll review a checklist to ensure the venue is clean and setup according to their request and afterwards will review a checklist to ensure the client returns the venue as they found it.
During each event you will periodically ensure the client has the venue services that they need.
Perfect opportunity to get an introduction to the hospitality industry in this part time position.
Responsibilities:
Meet each client, and their vendors, before the event to simply put name with a face Be aware of the services offered by the venue Be able to operate Apple TV, microphone, hydraulic stage during event Visually inspect each room of the venue hourly during events Capability to set up, tear down, rearrange tables and chairs before, during and after the event according to a pre-determined layout.
This will require your ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Review checklist with client, and their vendors, at the end of event Immediately communicate any irregularities to management Assist with by light venue tasks during the event when not doing the above Teamwork in planning advertising events fro open houses and wedding shows
Qualifications:
Ability to work weekends potentially from noon until midnight Proactive attitude to anticipate needs of client and their vendors Team oriented and self motivated to help achieve successful event Experience within the hospitality, wedding or special events industry Customer service Desire to work for a family owned business Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision.
