Cyber Threat Analyst with Security Clearance
Cyber Threat Analyst long-term contract; Morrisville, NC (hybrid)
Summary:
o Tier One Technologies is looking for a Cyber Threat Analyst to work with our direct US Government client supporting its Detection Automation and Engineering Unit located in Morrisville, NC.
o SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT
Responsibilities:
oIdentifies and assesses the capabilities and activities of cyber criminals or foreign intelligence entities; produces finds to help initialize or support law enforcement and counterintelligence investigations or activities.
o Identify and develop threat signatures from all available sources.
o Maintain threat indicators within the threat intelligence platform.
o Implement and support standard procedures for incident response.
o Interface with Business Unit Information System Security Officers and Incident Response TeamsPREFERRED
Qualifications:
o 3-5 years of experience with security operations and incident response.
o CERTIFICATIONS (One or more required):
CISSP or CISA or CISM or GIAC or RHCE.
o Excellent oral and written communication skills.
o Bachelor's OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fieldADDITIONAL PROVISIONS:
o Must be eligible to obtain a sensitive clearance - Position of Public Trusto All candidates must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
o Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
o Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 yearsMilitary Service excluded.
