What You Will Do:
Assists departmental leadership in driving the development and implementation of PIT policies, procedures, and programs.
Partner with business stakeholders to develop a structured PIT training program.
Ensure all training guides and materials are up-to-date and readily available.
Routinely observes forklift operations throughout the facilities for compliance to safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
Identifies unsafe operations and potential hazards and develop and implement plans to eliminate them.
Leads and facilitates departmental teams, training sessions, and workshops to drive ideas and solutions.
Issues and tracks all PIT licenses and expirations.
Participate in the investigation of all PIT incidents and near misses to ensure proper mitigations and resolutions are permanently implemented.
Performs a variety of administrative duties which include inputting and/or extracting data or information from an electronic system to include reports, maintenance of data, department policies, procedures, and various other related administrative tasks.
Ensures the business impact and project objectives/dependencies are identified, reported on, and managed at all times.
Sets clear expectations at every level, provides constructive feedback, and holds staff accountable to expectations.
Builds trust across the organization and develops strong working relationships among internal and external suppliers and customers.
Stays abreast of warehousing and logistics best practices, methods, and technologies.
Assists the department manager with special projects as requested to meet business goals and requirements.
Observes established safe working and housekeeping procedures; promptly corrects hazardous situations.
Follows all company policies, security protocols & procedures, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and ISO requirements.
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
May be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.
What You Will Bring:
Bachelor's degree in a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement Minimum of 2 years equivalent experience of continuous improvement analytical experience from a similar role within a warehouse environment Previous experience working in an ISO certified environment within the Warehousing and Logistics Industry Previous experience with warehouse technology solutions (iWarehouse experience preferred) Business Intelligence (Tableau, Power BI, etc.
) experience preferred Effective working knowledge in the implementation of continuous improvement programs and Lean solutions.
Effective working knowledge warehousing and logistics processes (i.
e.
Inventory Management, Order Fulfillment, Quality Assurance, Order Planning/Forecasting, etc.
) Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of internal customers, managers, and subject matter experts.
Strong analytical, project and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
Effective proficiency in using the intranet, email, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Google Docs, SmartSheet, and Management Information Systems (MIS).
Effective customer service, interpersonal, business acumen, organizational, analytical, administrative, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Must be able to evaluate business problems/requirements and translate into analytical exercises and actionable insights.
Proactive work style used to communicate project status, issues, and completion plans.
Ability to read or understand information related to work activities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment Primarily working in an office setting which is normally within a controlled temperature setting environment and low noise levels.
However, at times, will be working in a warehouse (plant floor) environment:
plant floor characterized by temperature extremes, consistent low to moderately loud noise levels, and considerable PIT traffic or moving equipment.
Physical environment may require the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
When walking on the warehouse floor or any other area that requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE), the employee may be advised or required to use PPE which may include, but not limited to:
ear protection, eye protection, lifting equipment, issued high-visibility safety vest, and safety shoes.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
