Job Description:
The Quality Control Engineer (QCE) position will report to the Quality Control Manager. The QCE will be located in Morrisville, NC and will work in partnership with the CEMs (Contract Electronics Manufacturers) and Sensus manufacturing sites to assure the highest quality product is shipped to our customers. The QCE will proactively determine potential for failure/risk evaluation, determine root cause by working with core team, and implement a solution with cross-functional team. Primary Responsibilities Identification of Critical to Quality characteristics (CTQs) for existing products in working with Engineering to define to enable visibility of critical parameters through supply chain Perform GAP Analysis / Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA) to drive Daily/Weekly/Monthly Audits to improve product quality Contribute to Design Reviews with best practices and lessons learned from a quality perspective based on CEM capability Drive PPAP with suppliers during NPI process Review and statistically analyze CEM testing and in-process data at critical points, such as Inspection Points, In Circuit Tests (ICT), and Final Verification Test (FVT) Audit Engineering Change Requests and Notices (ECR/ECN) and Temporary Manufacturing Specifications (TMS) to assure proper implementation Provide Quality Control Plan as input to the New Product Development process, and initiate and control PQA Implement Incoming Inspection Processes for critical components Support 8D Corrective Action for all line rejects and field returns Support 8D Corrective Action for all scrap material Pareto CAPA?s and drive systematic improvement across products Lead and report on RCA and corrective action resulting from customer audits and returns Collaborate with Manufacturing/Test Engineering to define SPC parameters and data analysis/actions required based on output Audit Finished Goods for meeting product Critical to Quality parameters (CTQ?s)

Requirements 1-2 years? experience in manufacturing environment with Root Cause Analysis/Corrective Action Degree in EE/ME preferred or equivalent Knowledge of statistical techniques & statistical programs (such as Mini Tab) ASQ Certification a plus Familiar with ISO and auditing principals a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong decision-making, analytical and problem-solving, and negotiating Self-motivated and able to perform well under minimal supervision Ability and willingness to travel (10-20%)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
