US Company that develops equipment for CVD Diamond Deposition is seeking a mechanical engineer. Candidate is skilled in mechanical design, including familiarity with generating shop drawings and supporting procurement of fabricated parts. Ideally, proficient with Solidworks design software and good aptitude for assembly and debug of mechanical and electromechanical systems. Along with mechanical design, you will help support rigorous test of the equipment under development. Also but not limited to, that can support: (a) mechanical assembly, test, and maintenance CVD / vacuum equipment, (b) aid in procurement, test, and organization of components, and (c) assist in operation of equipment in support of research and development testing. Familiarity with industrial vacuum equipment (pumps, gauges, valves) and/or industrial microwave generator equipment would be a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
