NETE is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, flexible, organized, and detail oriented ASP.NET and Oracle Developer.
Responsibilities:
. Designs and develops new features and/or maintains existing applications developed on
ASP.NET and Oracle
. Develops code and supporting documentation
. Works in a team environment to develop, test and deploy software changes
. Works with clients to understand and implement new requirements
. Provides operational support when necessary
. Works the product backlog of features and bugs
. Provides input on new designs and architecture as needed
. Develops a well-tested, high performance, scalable web application
. Stays current on new technologies and best practices
Requirements:
. Professional experience with ASP.NET
. 4
years of experience designing, developing and deploying web based applications with
ASP.NET 3.0 or above using C#
. 5+years of Oracle transaction database design and development experience
. Design and develop application user interface using current Oracle technologies such as Oracle
web services, APEX, Web logic, Java Libraries, etc.
. Experience in using SQL Developer, Data Modeler, TOAD, etc.
. Must have strong database skills
. Experience with LINQ to Entities or LINQ to SQL
. Experience with Code-First development using Entity Framework 4
. Comfortable with Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and working with N-Tier
architectures
. Understanding of software testing and the need to produce first-class software
. Must be flexible to change and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
. Excellent oral and written communication skills
. Experience interfacing with clients
. Experience with Agile/SCRUM
. MS.NET Certification is a plus
. Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) is preferred
. Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) development experience is preferred
Education: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or
related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
