POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
Etix seeks a Java UI Web Developer to lead the UI implementation of our next generation ticketing platform. The ideal candidate has mastered the full Java / JEE stack and is passionate about crafting user interfaces with thought leadership and expertise in JavaScript / HTML5 / CSS. Typical projects include rich interactive web and mobile applications, large data systems, web-based reporting and data analytics. This position reports directly to the CTO.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with Product / UX to refine design specs, develop execution plan and estimates, and then build and test UI components. You are the go-to person for everything the user interacts with, but in close concert with the server-side Java teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement of our software development best practices across the technology stack (from front-end to database) and across the development cycle (coding through deployment). Participate in requirements gathering and functional specification activities, providing feedback on implementation feasibility as well as navigable prototypes/mockups.
A proven self-starter, able to take high-level written and verbal requirements and convert them into quality code quickly and independently. Communicates effectively and in a professional manner.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
