Manager of Finance
Scope and goals for the position:
Provide oversight of several Accounting department functions for Aerocrine, Inc. Manage month end close process and ensure adherence to financial reporting requirements in the US and Internationally. The position reports directly to the Senior Director of Finance.
Function(s) covered in the position
Manage the periodic and month end financial reporting responsibilities, including the following;
Monthly Financial Reporting including the Sales Flash Report and Financial Results report to Corporate/HQs
Revenue recognition oversight and review
Management of the weekly sales report and other weekly operational reports.
Monthly inventory forecast
Manage multiple functions of the accounting department
Manage the daily activities of general ledger related functions: financial closing journal entries, reconciliations
Oversight of multiple accounting department functions - Intercompany, A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets, Inventory
Maintain the Company's banking relationship and participate in the cash management responsibilities of the subsidiary
Maintain Microsoft Navision/Dynamics accounting system
Liaison with other departments to research and resolve operational concerns - system related or other.
Tax accounting:
Liaison with external tax accountant, facilitate federal and state sales tax returns, and review sales tax returns.
Manage any state audits
Liaison with consultants for administration of payroll and 401K
Inventory Functions: facilitate the quarterly physical inventory count; research/resolve discrepancies, post adjustments
Manage Payroll processing and review G/L postings
Manage, motivate and lead the accounting team members
Ensure proper level of documentation is maintained to support transactional activity and appropriate reviews are performed on a timely basis

Payment up to $100,000
Single expenses up to $25,000
President's expenses up to $25,000
Expenses above this limit to be referred to Aerocrine, AB executive management.
Experience Required (Knowledge, skills and abilities)
Degree in Accounting or Finance
Public Accounting experience desirable
7-8 total years' experience; 3-4
years' experience in a Finance/Accounting managerial capacity
Advanced skills in Excel, Word, General Ledger Systems
Experience with MS Dynamics Navision highly desirable
CPA required (or near CPA exam completion)
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
