Vehicle Description 1975 Fiat 124 spider.
Starting with a nice straight, clean, rust free 124 Spider the previous owner vastly improved this 124 during refurbishment adding several performance upgrades.
With a well documented, professionally rebuilt engine including headwork, high compression pistons, cam, larger intake and exhaust valves, new oil pump, new water pump, timing belt and all new seals this little overhead cam engine runs and sounds great.
This is partly due to its stainless steel header and Hi Flow stainless exhaust system and A weber 34ADF carburetor which was added.
Ad well a new clutch, pressure plate and release bearing were installed during the restoration.
Prior to the complete repaint and the addition of a new convertible top the suspension was gone through with new springs, KYB shock absorbers, new tie rods, new bushings, kingpins , A arms and swaybar bushings.
The cooling system was updated with a new radiator, Silicone cooling system hoses, water pump and aluminum expansion tank with the cooling now provided by a much larger thermostatically controlled electric cooling fan fitted with a new thermostatic switch.
The interior has a very nice original dash fitted with new dash wood and an upgraded steering wheel.
A Jensen Bluetooth audio system and new antenna has been added as well.
After the paint new Autostrada 15 inch alloy wheels and Hankook 205/ 50 tires were installed as well as front brake work, a new battery and Tribar halogen headlights with LED turn signals.
The front bumper delete kit was installed on the front (but the original bumper and hardware are included with the sale as well as the rear bumper delete kit).
The car comes with its boot cover, owners manual, convertible top manual, shop manual, spare tire and tools.
This 124 spider runs exceptionally well, much stronger than stock, with its upgraded suspension and tires, new clutch and high performance engine it is great fun to drive.
