Vehicle Description A very unique and highly restored, rare 1962 VW Karmann Ghia coupe with new, upgraded, cold AC.
This nicely restored, refurbished and well documented Ghia has a NEW 1641 VW engine, which was professionally installed and had less than 2000 miles on it.
Now producing 66 hp versus its original 40, the car runs and performs very well with its fully re-bushed shifter linkage in the front and rear, as well as a full new shifter mechanism inside of the car.
The car has had both floor pans, completely professionally replaced, as well as the spare tire well in the front of the car.
All of this was properly seam sealed and painted, as seen in the pictures below.
The Car features new seat covers and seat foams, a new headliner, new door panels and armrests, an alarm system, and a very nice Bluetooth sound system.
Under the car, there is a performance exhaust system, as well as a new starter, dual oil coolers with electric cooling fans, electronic ignition, a new alternator, a new AC system and has recently been serviced with its heads torqued and valves adjusted.
All 5 tires are brand new, and the car is fitted with chrome EMPI wheels which were just balanced, the front sway bar bushings, have been replaced with polyurethane as well all four shock Absorbers have been replaced.
new badges emblems and exterior hardware were added as well as most of the weatherstripping being replaced.
New chrome bumpers were added all the way around, as well as LED halo headlights, new sun visors, exterior lenses, a new jack, new trunk carpet and interior dash trim.
Overall a very nicely refurbished, refreshed and upgraded Karmann Ghia.
The original wheels and steering wheel come with the car, as well as two folders of receipts and documentation for all of the work done.
